1 · Download for your OS

macOS (.app) Windows Linux

The macOS app is Apple-notarized and works on both Intel & Apple Silicon (it picks the right one automatically). Advanced/CLI: arm64 · Intel raw binaries.

2 · Run & sign in

  1. macOS: the download unzips to BQT Presence.app — double-click it. On first open macOS asks “are you sure you want to open it?” → click Open (one time). A Terminal window opens for the agent. (It's Apple-notarized, so there's no security warning to bypass.)
  2. Windows: double-click the .exe. If SmartScreen warns → More info → Run anyway (Windows build isn't signed yet).
  3. Linux: chmod +x bqt-presence-linux && ./bqt-presence-linux (for app name + idle on X11: sudo apt install xprintidle xdotool).
  4. Type your Organized email + password → Enter. Keep the window open (or add it to your login/startup items).

Records once a minute: active/idle + the name of your foreground app. Used only for attendance, visible to you and authorized admins. To sign out, delete ~/.bqt-presence/config.json.
