# BQT Presence — release notes

Always download the latest from
**https://barquecon-attendance-agent.barquecontech.com/download/**. The agent tells you on start
if a newer version is out. The download links keep the same names — re-downloading always gives the
newest build.

## v0.2.0 — 2026-07-14 (current)
- **More accurate active-hours.** Fixed a server-side counting bug where batched samples (sent 5 at a
  time) collapsed into one minute, under-counting active time ~5×. Hours now line up closely with
  DeskTime for the same person.
- **Update awareness.** The agent now reports its version and warns you on start when a newer build is
  available, so everyone can stay on the latest.
- **Reliability.** Network requests now time out instead of hanging; overlapping sample cycles are
  prevented (no double/dropped samples); a non-HTTPS server URL is warned about.
- Admin dashboard now shows each device's agent version.

## v0.1.0 — 2026-07-14
- First release. Sign in with your Organized (Tim Work) account; captures active/idle + foreground app
  name once a minute and pushes batched heartbeats. No keystrokes, screenshots, or window titles.
